I had an absolutely amazing day yesterday!  We had 60+ degree weather in Atlanta and I spent the day hanging out with the kiddos :).  Thank goodness I had the foresight to throw on an outfit that I wore a while back but had not taken pictures in!  My entire weekend was low key and amazing at the same time.  I did my usual running around (blog event, family outing, and visiting friends) but I still made time for a little introspection.  That put A Lot in perspective!  There still aren't enough hours in the day, but I feel more equipped to handle raising 2 teenagers, grad school, and life as a whole.  Maybe there is something to this Lent thing...  Taking away the things that I usually squeeze in during my downtime (shopping, Starbucks, more shopping)  creates much needed mental space.  While I CANNOT wait to hit the stores again...like seriously, I am learning things that may have taken years if I hadn't given myself this time.  Did you give anything up for lent?  If so, have you had any epiphanies???
