The New Year is a time of renewal.  I spent much of the day yesterday sad because my bestie from Spain left and the remainder of the day thinking, planning, and goal setting for 2013.  Whenever I'm setting goals, I always think about my mom.  She raised 5 children alone and her strength is a constant source of motivation.  With all that I have experienced she has always been there as a quiet yet strong pillar.  The older I get, the more I am amazed at how she continues to maintain this role for both her children and grandchildren.  The older she gets, the more I'm amazed by her beauty both inside and out!  Mom, I'm not calling you old =D.  With this being my first post of 2013, I thought it would be fitting to dedicate it to the most important woman in my life.
