On Saturday I attended Coco Curls Natural Hair Care Spring Trends at Iwi Fresh Garden Day Spa. The event was filled with tips for Spring trends from fashion to make up and of course HAIR!!! The lovely panelists, Nikka Shae of Oh! Nikka and Kerrie Cooke of Virtuous Styls started off with lifestyle and fashion tips. Kerrie went on to tell us about budget and thrift shopping to find excellent deals on Spring trends.
After the panel discussion, there were vendors showcasing various items from fashionable chocolate...yes chocolate to hair jewelry. See more event photos here. In addition to mingling, music, shopping, and gourmet hors d'oeuvres there were a TON of giveaways! I won a gift certificate for a spa service at Iwi Fresh...SCORE!!!
After a brief intermission, Jeannell, Miss Coco Curls herself, did a live hair demo with her product. We received 8 oz jars with registration. I have already used mine and I absolutely love it so stay tuned for a review. After another brief break, we were given makeup tips by the adorable makeup artists, Jazmine of Fashion to Rouge and Bridgette "Miss B Locs" Gant. I'm a makeup newbie so this was super informative!
